BR 2-09: Energy IN SPORT

I read a book today and the title of the book is Energy IN SPORT, because I have played tennis for six years and I like sports, but this book didn’t write about tennis. And I was interested in energy in sports, so I thought if I read this book, I could use the energy in sports.

In this book there were lots of surprises. The most surprising information is about proteins. “When sprinters injure their bodies, they have to eat lots of foods with protein in them” (Nicolas, 2007, p.13). I knew that proteins help bodies to grow, but I didn’t know that it is good for fixing injured bodies. If I injured, I would eat protein, but I don’t like this taste, so I must suffer. Please teach me some proteins which are good taste.

This book explains that difference between sprinters and endurance runners. I like running a long distance better than a short distance. I was good at running the long distance, because I was the fastest in the club in a marathon. According to this book, endurance runners eat carbohydrates to read the long distance, so I need to eat them. I will run faster. If you are interested in this book or you like running, please read. You think about foods.
