BR 2-06: Voting

I read a book today and the title of book is Voting. Because I will be 20 years old this year, so I can get a right. And when I was a high school student, I have voted to elect a student body president, so I was interested in voting.

In this book there were lots of surprises. The most surprising information is about history of voting. “Over 2000 years ago, the Greeks voted for the people they wanted to run their city” (Alan, 2007, p.6). I didn’t know that voting started from way back. I thought that voting stared from a few hundreds year, but it was wrong. And I think they voted to elect some leaders, but I didn’t think that they voted to run. There are many kinds of voting in the world.

This book explains about voting of history and how to vote and so on. Nowadays, there are lots of people who are apathetic about voting in the world. I want them to be interested in voting. I also have to consider voting. If you are interested in this book, please read. You can know about voting more. I wish you take part in voting aggressively.
