BR 2-16: Ice on Earth

I read a book today and the title of the book is Ice on the Earth. I take a class which is about environment. I learned about global warming. It relates ice, because ice is melt by global warming. If ice is melt, sea level rise, so ice is very important for us. I wanted to get knowledge about ice more, so I read.

In this book there were lots of surprises. The most surprising information is about is size of ice sheet. “The biggest ice sheet on Earth covers Antarctica. This ice sheet is bigger than 13 million square kilometers” (Nicolas, 2006, p.8) It is really big. I can’t image this real size. Can you image? I want to go there and I want to see them. If I watched it, I would move.

This book explains about ice. Ice is so big, but it is melt by global warming. I don’t want them to melt, so we must consider about ice and environment. I want to go to Antarctica to see them. I will try to protect environment to see them. If you are interested in this book, please read one. You also will want to go to Antarctica.
