BR 2-07: The UNITED NATIONS

I read the book today and the title of the book is The UNITED NATIONS, because I learned about it in the class a little. Recently, there are lots of problems in the world, so I wanted to know what The United Nations does now and I wanted to get some knowledge about UN.

In this book there were lots of surprises. The most surprising information is about the veto power. “Since the United Nations was formed, the veto power has been used more than 250 times” (Nicolas, 2007, p.21). I know about the vote power, but I didn’t know how many times the veto power was used. I thought that it has been used a few times, but it was wrong. I want to know when was it used and what was it used. It must has been a big problem.

This book explains about The United Nations. This organization helps us and makes the world more peaceful. It is important for us. I could also know about The United Nations logo. I didn’t know. I don’t like the war. I want the world to be peace forever, so we must consider the world to be more peaceful. If you were interested in this book, please read. You can know what The United Nations does.
