BR 1-09: Vanishing Cream

I read Vanishing Cream, because I didn’t know vanishing cream’s mean, so I was interested in it. It is that children are cleaning in the magician’s room. Then they drop vanishing cream, so they wipe it. After that they are vanishing. Then, a man came to the house. He is a thief, but he can’t them, because they are vanishing, so they could catch him. I want men to read it. Vanishing is dream of the men. (77)

Foreign countries

I have stayed Canada for a month. I learn English in there, but I learn also another thing. It is kindness. Canadian is very kind, if they find someone who is in need, they would help them. In fact when I lost the way, they help me. In Japan case, I don’t think that Japanese help them. I have had that experience myself, I learn it. To go to foreign countries alone is very dangerous and dreadful, but I learn not only English, but also something.(86)

Animal

My favorite animal is rabbit, because when I was child, I had it. Her name is Rab. We name her from rabbit. My friend had rabbits. They gave birth to two rabbits, so he gave one rabbit to me. Rab has soft wool and pretty eyes, so I always touched it. My family took care and took her under our wing, but she dead four years ago. We keened for a long time, so I didn’t want to have rabbit again, but nowadays I miss it, so I want to have. She is my treasure forever. (96)

Eassy 1-02b: Japanese baseball

Websites which I chose are about Japanese baseball history, teams and stadiums, because when I was junior high school student, I belonged to baseball club, so I like it. Although I like it, I don’t know history of baseball very well. So I am interested in it. That’s why I decided to search about it. First of all, I tell history of baseball.

Baseball was introduced by American teachers and professors in the 1870s, but professional league started in 1936. It took baseball a long time to start it. In December 1934, Yomiuri Shimbun founded the Great Japan Tokyo Baseball Club, which is called “Giants” now. After that the Japan Professional League was formed in 1936, including the Giants and six new teams. In this way, professional league started. However Giants is too strong, because Yomiuri has much money, so it could invite many good players in the team by using much money, so in 1965, the player draft introduced to deter it.

Now there are a lot of stadiums in Japan. Twelve teams each have their stadium. Stadiums have some features. For example, it has natural grass, large foul territory, dome-ing down Japan, small dimensions and high chain-link fences. It has a lot of features, so everyone become to want to go to many stadiums.

Now there are 12 teams in professional league. Giants is the strongest team in 12 teams, because it is the twentieth time the team has won the national championship, when I was a child, I like Giants because of strong. Now I like Hanshin, because I found favorite player. He belongs to Hanshin. His name is Kyuji Fuzikawa. His pitching form is cool and he has fastball which nobody hit. 12 teams each have mascot characters. They often dance in the stadiums to cheer on their teams. I think they make the game, so they are loved by funs.

I reviewed about Japanese baseball sites. Baseball is necessary for our spare time. We often watch it and play, but we don’t know history of baseball. Baseball was introduced from America, but now it is one of the Japanese traditional cultures. If you see it, I want you to think about this traditional sport. We need know our country more.

My other classes

My other classes are very busy. Particular speaking class is busy, because I had to survey about part-time job and we had to ask 150 people. It was very tired, but it was good for me, because I could come in contact with people. I think I learned bass of speaking. I'm not good at talking to people who I don't know, but I could adjust it a little though on the speaking class. It is busy, but I can grow. (81)

BR 1-08: A Hot Day at the Farm

I read A Hot Day at the Farm. I like animals. As there are some animals on the book cover, I chose it. This story is animals lived on farm. One day, farmer goes to beach to cool down. They envy him, so they go over the fence and go to the stream to cool down. There are some happenings in the adventure, they had a good time. I want people who like adventure to read it, because this adventure is exciting. If you read it, you will want to do adventure.

How I study English

My weak point is listening, so I can't always listen to conversation of foreign students. I often listen to foreign music to adjust tempo of conversation and I try to talk with them. I have low-vocabulary, so When I search words that I don't know, I use dictionary of English, so I can find some words that I don't know more. If I forgot it, I would memorize easier than I see it for the first time.(78)

At the beginning of May, there are long breaks. It is called Golden Week by everyone. How was it? Did you go anywhere?? I didn’t go anywhere because of my part-time job. I wanted to hang out with my friends, but I worked everyday, so I didn’t hang out. Some my friends went to short trip, other my friends worked the way I did. I envy them. Although I didn’t go anywhere, my brother came back to home from Osaka. And so I talked with him. Last Friday, my senior who works in Fukuoka at college came back to Kumamoto. On Friday, I always finish my classes on 2 periods, so I was free from noon. As she invited me to eat lunch, I could eat with her. When she was university student, she has stayed in New Zealand for a year, so I wanted to hear about it. I asked her something. I had to work at 6:00, so I left in the middle, but it was so fun. I thought I want to become such her. (178)

Yesterday, I met Unosan who went to Sent Mary University for ten month with Takuya. This spring, Takuya and I stayed in Halifax for a month. Then, we met her in there. We heard she came back to Japan a week ago, so we wanted to talk with her about Halifax. She was busy, so we couldn’t meet her. Finally, we could meet her yesterday. I could use my mother’s car, so I took them by car. We went to Starbucks where is along Higashi bypass. We talked about work, going abroad, Halifax and Friends in there. Although I wanted to talk more, she had to go to Shinkan party, so I took her to KGU. We split with her in the university. After that, we were hungry, so we decided to eat Okonomiyaki. Do you know?? It is Japanese food. It is so good. If you have never eaten it, you should eat. However I thought only two person feel lonely, so we decided to invite some people. We tried to call some people, but they refused it because they already went home or they were busy. And so we went to the library to look for our friends. haha Finally we found friends. We could eat it with them. Its mass was so much. I worried if I can eat all, but I could eat. It was so good. After that I took them to home except Takuya. I wanted to drive more, so I decided to take Unosan to home. I called her and I called for her. Her home is in Kikuchi. It takes an hour and a half to go froｍ KGU to her home. It is long distance, but we talked while we went to Kikuchi, so it was very fun. Yesterday was super duper for me. If I can use a car, I want to go somewhere with my friends. (318)

BR 1-05: Down Comes The RAIN

I read Down Comes The RAIN. This book explains about the water cycle. After rain comes down, the sun dries it and turned the water into water vapor. It forms new clouds. Soon the rain will fall again. It is the water cycle.
I have learned it, so it is interesting for me. I want someone who is interested in science to read it. After they read it, they will be interested in it more.

Food/eating habits

If we don’t eat anything, we wouldn’t be able to live, so to eat some food is important for our health, but recently women tend to care their style of body, so they try to do slimming diet. I think it is bad their body to diet, so they should not diet. When we are senior, we can’t eat some food which they like, so I think we should eat food which we like before it is too late.(79)

My treasure

Finally, I quit my part-time job, because I can’t earn much money. I work there for half and year. Although I wanted to quit it, I want to go abroad, so I decided to quit it. I love stuffs of my job. In my workplace case, after we finish our job, we can eat meal in there for free. I love it, I was always looking forward to eating it, but I can’t eat it. Today’s meal was so gorgeous. Cooks made it for me. I was so happy and it was so delicious. After that, we talked about our job. When we were talking with them, one of the stuffs brought something and she gave it to me. It was message card. All stuffs wrote on card for me. I was surprised it. I wanted to see it on site right now, but if I read it in front of them, I would cry, so I didn’t read. When I went back to home, I read it. As expected, I wept bitterly over. It will be one of my treasures. I never forget about today. I work for another restaurant now, so I want to do my best.
